Time for everyone to think outside of the box. A lot of people don’t do this when their marketing for an affiliate program, and that is why they fail.

What I am about to tell you will give you the ability to run the gamut of affiliate programs, promoting them great, in large numbers, without spending a lot of time on each.

Why would I tell you? First, because I want to help you grow as a marketer, but also, because I love to see how people invent upon what I offer for free. So all I ask is that you let me know how you used this tip… (*Plus, I know Im better at marketing, so I don’t need to worry about someone entering my turf )

The task is simple, optimize your entry page for the companies name. Think of Citibank.. All you will see doing a search is the companys site, a wiki entry, and related Citi sites. Citibank is NOT even a word, or a phrase. Nobody has a reason to compete for the Citibank phrase, unless they are selling for the company. Targeting “Citi Bank” is even easier- nobody links to Citibank that way, so you could even pass them for their own name.

I’ve done this with hundreds of companies during hot seasons (like Christmas for Shoes, Valentines days for Chocolates, and more.) Some times it pays to keep the program running all the time (I have the ability to switch links, and move up after doing this for so long, you may have to get link exchanges, and things requiring a lot more leg work, but a great, residual return.

Think of companies that are very odd words. Jamster, Western Union, Citibank.

None of these are a problem marketing- a top ten is guaranteed if you know what you’re doing, and the best part is- if they are searching for the name, they are obviously interested, and already probably informed in the product this company is selling. I have sites like this that are seriously raking in a 46% conversion rate, with a monthly profit of $45,000+… Now I won’t tell you these sites because I’ve done the leg work to find them, but Ive given you THREE good ones, and expect using my “Find Quality Advertisers in Commission Junction” post you will find many more.
