Unite Your Browsers with FoxMarks and Google Browser Sync
Do you have a laptop, a Work PC, and a Home PC? Google Browser Sync allows your browser to remember everything you’ve done on another computer.
How is this useful? There are a lot of reasons I use it. Keeping track of forms I only logged into with my home PC- if I take my laptop on the road, I can log in without having to remember the login details. Ever gone to a website and forgotten where it was because you found it on vacation? Your PC will automatically log into the browser sync server and retract your previous visits.
FoxMarks, another add-on for Firefox allows you to sync your browsers Bookmarks. This is especially useful for sync’ing your mobile computer with your home based machine. I love using it because I have most of my everyday favorites right in my toolbar. Using Foxmarks, it allows for updating them from one machine, and keeping the same browsing experience on my laptop.
As with anything, I’m sure there are security risks using either service, but nothing has been noted on the web yet- just play safe.
